The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.
The Practical Nursing (PN) program is delivered onsite at Florida Academy of Nursing’s campus. The program offers preparation for practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and serves as a basis for further professional nursing education. This program requires 1,485 hours for completion. Upon successful completion of required courses, the student is awarded a Practical Nursing Diploma.
The PN graduate is eligible to apply to the State’s Board of Nursing for Licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Our goal is to help our Practical Nursing students acquire the knowledge and technical skills required to contribute to the nursing process as part of the healthcare team and to prepare them to successfully meet licensure requirements.
To provide education and training to the new generation of nurses who are competent and career-ready to perform as entry-level Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs).
